Sarvaa Organics Sustainability Practices
At Sarvaa Organics, sustainability is part of how we think about ingredients, packaging, production, and daily facility operations. We know every business creates some impact, so we focus on practical steps that help reduce waste, reuse materials, and make more responsible choices wherever possible.
Our sustainability practices include tree planting support, waste reduction, box reuse, glass jar reuse, plastic recycling, food waste reduction, efficient lighting, and careful facility practices.
Planting Trees Through Product Purchases
Sarvaa Organics has partnered with Eden Reforestation Projects to help support tree planting around the world.
For every $12 spent on Sarvaa Organics products, one tree is planted through Eden Reforestation Projects. This gives customers a simple way to support reforestation through their regular purchases.

Waste Reduction at Our Facility
Sarvaa Organics works to reduce waste in our facility wherever possible. Because of these efforts, our facility currently generates only about one large bag of trash per month.
We reuse materials when we can, recycle what we cannot reuse, and look for better options when standard recycling is not the best choice.
For example, we purchase high-quality organic coconut oil in glass jars instead of plastic tubs. Rather than placing those jars directly into the standard recycling stream, we donate usable jars to a local nonprofit organization that washes and reuses them.
Recycling Practices
Sarvaa Organics uses several recycling and reuse practices to reduce unnecessary waste.
Recycling Boxes
We reuse as many incoming shipping boxes as possible. When boxes are too damaged to reuse, we recycle them as efficiently as possible.
Recycling Glass
When ingredient suppliers ship products to us in glass jars or bottles, we look for local organizations that can reuse them. This gives the glass a longer useful life before it enters the recycling stream.
Recycling Plastics
Although we do not generate plastic bags in our bulk production process, some ingredient suppliers ship materials in plastic packaging.
When possible, we wash these empty plastic bags so they qualify for better recycling programs. In some cases, we also reuse or recycle them depending on condition and availability.
Reducing Food Waste
Sarvaa Organics works carefully to reduce food waste during production. Our current food waste is down to about one quart container per month.
Food-to-Packaging Ratio
Sarvaa Organics works to provide more usable product with less unnecessary packaging.
A strong food-to-packaging ratio means customers receive more ounces of food compared to the amount of packaging used. This matters because excessive packaging creates more waste after the product is finished.
When a product comes in a glass jar, customers can often reuse the jar for storage or other household purposes.
Nutrient-to-Packaging Ratio
Sarvaa Organics also focuses on nutrient-dense ingredients and minimal packaging. Our goal is to create products that offer meaningful nutrition without relying on empty-calorie fillers or excessive packaging.
By choosing nutrient-dense ingredients and practical package sizes, we work to give customers more value with less waste.
Facility Energy Use
Sarvaa Organics works to use electricity efficiently in our facility. We retrofitted our facility with LED lighting to reduce electrical consumption.
We also pay attention to daily energy habits, equipment use, and facility practices that may help reduce unnecessary power use.
Facility Cleaning Practices
Sarvaa Organics chooses cleaning products carefully and prioritizes safer facility-cleaning options whenever possible.
Our goal is to maintain a clean production environment while also making thoughtful choices about the materials we use in the facility.
